New Bakers Court, Uxbridge (spec: Derbigum, Mastic Asphalt)
It is some time since Rock last partnered main contractor Kier on a major project. We are therefore delighted that Kier have selected us to work on New Bakers Court, a new town centre office scheme in Uxbridge. Fizzy drink giant Coca-Cola Enterprises has agreed to take 108,884 sq ft of space at New Bakers Court and has signed a 15-year lease for the site from April 2012. Currently based at Charter Place, also in the centre of Uxbridge, Coca-Cola are set to relocate 550 staff to the new building.
In preparation for the big move, Rock is waterproofing the roof with Derbigum, a flat roofing membrane manufactured by Alumasc. Where Alumasc products are specified, Rock has the technical expertise to manage projects of any scale.
In addition, Rock has been contracted to supply and install a quality package of our mastic asphalt flexiphalte for the car park deck at New Bakers Court. For Coca-Cola’s many staff and visitors, the car parking facility is an important element of the new premises. Kier know they can rely on Rock to deliver exceptional waterproofing integrity, and we hope to find ourselves partnering Kier again before long.
