Chiswick Green, office development (spec: Hot Melt)

Recently, main contractor BAM has appointed Rock to work on a number of their major commercial projects. These include Network Rail's national centre in Milton Keynes and the prestigious office space at Africa House in Holborn. Now BAM have specified our hot melt product to waterproof Chiswick Green, a new 81,500 sq ft headquarters office development in West London which represents the first of a new generation of sustainable buildings for business.

At the heart of Rock’s hot melt roofing system is an advanced monolithic membrane that blends both synthetic and natural rubber in a special selected bitumen. Once installed by Rock it will be an important element of the building envelope, an area of significant investment by the developers.

Our quality waterproofing will work side by side with the latest effective sustainable design technologies to minimise the environmental impact of the building. In recognition of its sustainability credentials, the design for Chiswick Green has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and an impressive Energy Performance Certificate rating of B.
