For almost 40 years Bourne Parking have been a major player in their field, building everything from modest single decks to 1,500-capacity multi-storey car parks. Which is why Bourne Parking contacted Rock when they were awarded the order for Asda's new multi-storey car park in Weymouth.
As part of Asda's expansion plans, Weymouth & Portland council granted permission for a new mezzanine level to be added to the supermarket's existing car park, creating an additional 300 spaces. Bourne Parking specified Rock's mastic asphalt because of its very high quality, achieved by computer controlled batching at our manufacturing plant. Transported by our thermostatically controlled mixer vehicles, the quality of the hot charge molten material is maintained from door to door until it reaches its destination. By combining the quality of our asphalt with Bourne Parking's own innovative techniques, Asda has a smart, cost-effective solution to their customer car parking requirements.
