At Rock we appreciate our responsibility to minimise any negative impact on the environment. To this end, we will always:

• employ electronic testing, as opposed to flood testing, to help conserve water

• recycle pallets and eliminate packaging to reduce construction waste

• recycle raw materials and unused asphalt product at our plant

• capture and reutilise dust within the production process

• select environmentally considerate materials

• assess products chemically to establish their environmental credentials

• source UK-manufactured products to reduce carbon footprint

• increase capacity of trailer units to reduce haulage and adopt a “full load” policy

Rock was the first in our industry to be declared carbon neutral and to achieve Achilles accreditation. We remain the only organisation in our field to hold environmental ISO14001 accreditation for our contracting and manufacturing.
